It Was Fun While It Lasted

If this isn't the true definition of "it was fun while it lasted". These are a pair of pants that belong to my 4 year old. That is a glob of play slime smushed into the seat of said pants. Now the slime goes bye bye in the trash and the pants need a miracle.

(The miracle was simply dawn dish soap and scorching hot water.)

See, my 2 children have a difficult time comprehending gentle play, and the choices they make with slime result in slime being a very rare occasion.

That slime also used to be 3 different globs of different colors too. You can see where the potential for a wonderful time with the slime was at hand here.

It is really something how much we can learn by watching our children. This episode of parenthood is a great example of being thoughtful in our choices, or we see the consequences. Once we choose a journey, our steps within must be accompanied by wisdom, because the repercussions can surely get us in the seat of the pants. Pun intended. 😂

Life should be an enjoyable adventure, filled with experimenting, exploring, and research. You should absolutely try! Do your research though, and choose with wisdom and forward thinking. Ask yourself what the results might be before you try. Otherwise, when you sit on your slime to experiment, your experiment could go wrong pretty quickly. This goes for entrepreneurship, accepting a job, the meals you eat, and relationships you enter into, and any other way you make choices. It is only fun while it lasts.
